The QR code (quick response) can be read with a smartphone and contains a wide variety of information. In marketing, QR codes can be placed on advertising posters or printed in brochures, for example. These codes then lead to a specific website, video clip or sound recording, for example.

Since August 2020, there are now two different types of QR codes.  

QR codes for CostumRedirect

These are the Markee QR codes described above. With these QR codes, you can define the target URL yourself and change it again and again without changing the QR code. They are often used for book printing. Advantage: Print the QR code somewhere once and change the target URL at any time if necessary. 

QR codes for ReviewRedirect

These QR codes are available since August 2020. When booking this product, Markee automatically creates a QR code that links directly to the GBP review page of the relevant company. The destination URL cannot be changed manually by the user. The prerequisite is that the location has a GBP entry.
