Creating a Location

Definition of location

The location contains all information about the respective place/unit. Starting from the address to pictures and opening hours. Each location is subordinate to one company, a company can have any number of locations.

Maintain the information depending on the products and services you want to book for the customer. For example, for a banner booking in the directory, you do not need opening hours. For the booking of a listing or the maintenance of firmeneintrag.de you do.

For creating a location, you need the following information, the corresponding fields are mandatory in Markee:

1. Location name (this is published on the Internet)
2. Branch(es)
3. Postcode
4. City
5. Street
6. House number
7. Phone number

Enter a sublocality

If you enter the address by using our autocomplete function, the "Sublocality" field will be filled in automatically. Our autocomplete function recognizes the appropriate sub locality based on the information you enter and enters it for you. This field is optional and is required for the Yext listing. Currently, the Apple Maps portal requires this field to deliver the listing to the following countries:

1. Italy
2. Mexico
3. South Africa
4. Brazil, Brazil
5. Turkey
6. Vietnam
