Testing and go-live

Verify your integration in the sandbox (https://qa-api.mark.ee/api) before you switch to production (https://api.mark.ee/api). Authenticate against the matching login URL as described in Authentication methods.

Test checklist​

Company and location​

  • A company and location can be created with all required fields
  • Optional data is covered, including opening hours (regular, special, closed days)
  • Updating name, address and phone number works and shows in the location data
  • Your integration handles Error responses without crashing

Subscriptions​

  • A listing subscription can be created and reaches ACTIVE
  • Your system handles PROCESSING and FAILED states
  • Repeating an order does not create a second subscription for the same location
  • Cancelling a subscription works

Enhanced content​

  • Lists, sections and elements can be created, updated and removed
  • A list is linked to locations and published

Google, Facebook and LinkedIn​

  • The connection URL is requested and the owner can connect the profile
  • The connection status is read after linking

Reviews and posts​

  • Reviews are listed and answered
  • A post is created, edited, scheduled and deleted
  • Comments on posts can be read and answered

Cleanup​

  • Content can be removed: posts, subscriptions, locations, companies

Go-live​

  1. Complete the checklist in the sandbox.
  2. Switch the base URL and login URL to production and use your production credentials.
  3. Migrate existing customers: create companies, locations and subscriptions in the production workspace and keep a mapping between your IDs (externalId) and Markee IDs.
  4. Run a smoke test with one real location.
